Photographer Allan Shoemake was frustrated when he would Skype with his daughter while she studied abroad. They were both poorly lit since there are no lights on the front-facing cameras of cell phones. This sparked him to invent a case that lights from the front, and so the Lumee case was born.
After much positive press on CNN, Oprah, The Today Show, etc. and online sales, Lumee was in need of updated packaging to entice their target market in stores. UP Design created packaging that better communicated how the product works in a sophisticated style.
